We might be on our own but will make the most of it!
Today I cooked the gammon. It will be sliced tomorrow. Roast potatoes and roast vegetables will be thawed. Just Brussels to cook fresh. We shall have cheese sauce instead of gravy. Christmas pudding and brandy or baileys sauce to finish if we have room.
Tea if needed will be a sandwich, sausage roll, pickle and trifle. Yum!
Hope you all have a lovely day.
A proper gammon ham at Christmas is one of my reasons for never becoming a full on vegetarian! Mine has a honey and mustard glaze and I had to try it in a sandwich while still warm. Very Yum
ReplyDeleteWe eat lots of vegetarian meals but couldn’t be one full time either.
DeleteEnjoy! To be warm, safe, well fed and with the one we love... these are the essential blessings for which we give thanks. Thank you for your blog!
