I can finally hear and early Christmas!

Yesterday, my problematic left ear was finally cleared by Lewis (got his name wrong). Lovely chap and very gentle. Ear drum still has a fine sheet of wax attached to it, which he reassures me will dry and drop off and make it way out. Hope he is correct.

I can honestly say we have never seen so many Christmas lights and decorations up inside and outside homes as this year. What is going on?

  1. Some up in houses in Son and DiL's village already but haven't seen any in my village as yet. Perhaps everyone is trying to cheer themselves up with all the terrible things going on in the world.

    1. Probably but for me, it kind of takes away the joy of the usual time.

  2. Great that the wax is now pretty much gone from your ear. I opened my drapes to Christmas lights across the street from us.

    God bless.

    1. Most of the ones we see are outdoor huge displays. Hope it doesn’t cost too much to run them.

    2. Newstyle LEDs are significantly cheaper to run than old style lights

  3. Glad to read that your ear has been dealt with. I noticed a house trimmed up as I drove into town last week, but that's the only one so far. Nothing in the immediate vicinity yet, and goodness knows where my tree is going to go with the little one here.

    1. We now only use the top half on a high cabinet for that reason but now we are used to it being that size, that’s how it will stay.
